#55	Please Click HERE to Vote    I purchased this excruciatingly gorgeous Italian provincial couch 38 years ago, or at least in my young 21-year- old eyes it was. After the purchase, I found out it would not fit in my Row Home (as they were called back then!) The store would not take it back but would store it free until I moved which was five years later. #52	Please Click HERE to Vote Hello:     This is the piece of junk that I am submitting to the ugly couch contest !!!!! We bought this couch used (though I really never wanted to) so as to save some extra bucks in setting up our new apartment (I got married in Feb 2004). Since then I really curse myself for the decision. The couch looks so bad with stains all over and moreover the back cushions are like two big saggy boobs. The color combination and the pattern also looks horrible. These two (couch and love seat) are like scare crows to my apartment and they spoil the entire look and feel of my living room. All my friends are also newly married and bought new couches. I feel very bad when I visit their homes. I want to buy new ones as well. But my husband says a big "NO". It was offered to me as a place to sleep in Morgantown WV in an apparently abandoned apartment above a night club used as a place for bands to crash for the night. I crashed on this couch and then in the morning I realized just how ugly it (and everything around it) actually was. notice the stainage...GROSSS!!! #50	Please Click HERE to Vote Hello:      Here's my submission for the 2005 Ugly Couch Contest. Lovely, ain't it?? It was my mother's and she loved it dearly. She bought it in 1990 from a neighbour who had owned it for 15 years and was replacing it. I moved back home to help her after Dad died and I put up with it for 5 long years. In its favour, it was comfortable to sleep on, which came in handy when we had guests. Mom passed away in August of this year; I miss her deeply but I've already bought a new sofa. #47	Please Click HERE to Vote Hello: I am sending pictures for the ugly couch contest.  As you can see, it's not one, but a matching set of love seat and couch.  No matter which we you look at it - it is still bright green with paisleys.  Although my mothers says it is so very comfy and she does not want to get rid of it, it could clearly use a new look.  And when she sold her house and moved into a condo she is renovating, she brought these with her.  Let's help return to the right decade and sent these couches back to the seventies.  Says the couches, "Vote for us, cause we are such a great pair!" It is a very comfortable couch, but only if your eyes are glued shut. It just looks rusty with the colors they have used.
